Really laughing

I laughed a lot reading my own previous post. How horrible we feel at times. Now i know how good people commit murders and suicide. Feeling down for a moment will make all bad things happen. I read somewhere that, during world war II, in the US army, no soldier was allowed to report a complaint against another one before 6 hours from the bad incident. This was to make sure that they don't report against each other under emotional circumstances...
Time heals all wounds...

Tough times...

I am having some tough time.
Nothing is going right.
Ego ruling life...
Killed many from memory...
Ripped many relations...
Sure i'm afraid of loosing them...
But I prefer rejecting rather than get treated like that...
Developed a hostile nature...
Or is that still the shy one in me...
Some time back I used to dream...
About growing up and helping many...
But these days even dreams don't happen...
All I feel is unconscious at night...

Is this called transition phase...
From a religious life to an atheist...
No, this won't last. I still believe in God...

July ,the month that WAS...

This month I started writing things for various events like g-mans 55, Magpie Tales, Stony Rivers microfiction, themethursday, one stop poetry and more. Started a new blog for keeping them together here. I wrote down things that first came to my mind on seeing their prompts.. Then went through all the posts for the same. Talent is exhibited in each and every posts… There are a lot of excellent writers out here.
I had this plan to read many books out of curriculum this month. Some books i read. In the last week i started reading 3 books., Shantharam, The Citadel and Nurse Becky Gets Shot. They were all good. But i don't know why it happened this way. I didn't finish reading anyone of them,,

Kings Prayer...

The previous month
I prayed to the almighty,
To bless my people,
With food, wealth and pleasure in abundance.
Keep my kingdom rich and large,
Without my people working for that.
With every wish granted and every soul satisfied,
Let me hear no more complaints.
The plead was heard,
And blessings were there,
In more abundance than demand....
The unexpected happened!.

Today I pray, 'O My lord,
Keep my kingdom rich and large,
And give my people what they wish,
Only when they work for that!'
This time too the prayer was heard,
And laziness fled from the kingdom forever...

Here is my first attempt. This is my entry for this week's prompt of "Abundant" in Velvet Verbosity's 100-Word Challenge, generously hosted here by LouCeel.

The Foreigner.

'I feel something fishy in here. Its not just a feeling, I can smell that, something fishy in here.' Thought the old man, entering the room. He was the owner of this room, actually many rooms that are similar to this and packed together in the form of a lodge!. He earn from lending them to people. Two days back this room was taken by a foreigner. A six feet tall handsome guy with a peculiar accent.

He left early in the morning after paying the bill and giving a warm hug to the old man. 'May be that was their style. What a gentle man. He never left his room for the two days he stayed and never made a trouble or complaint. ' Old man told himself, that time.

Now he was here to clean the room and keep everything back in position. Everyday Irene, the young lady did these things for a payment proportional to the rooms she attended that day. The old man paid her noting down the room numbers. He added that to the bill. Today she didn't show up. Last day she left without taking the payment. Infact she didn't show up for that. Poor thing, thought the old man. He suspected her for not finding him at the reception. He had an emergency call from his home at about 8pm. Jenny the old lady slipped in bathroom. On reaching home in 5minutes he send his grandson for completing the day's work at lodge and asked him to ensure that the guard was in place. 'What a poor timing. I feel pity for Irene. The slender thing didn't wait much' mumbled the old man.

He went inside and started cleaning. What he found beneath the bed left him puzzled. A heap of cushion!. Alarmed he pulled the cotton sheet covering the bed.
Now he had an answer for many questions,
THE SOURCE OF CUSHION,
THE FISHY SMELL, AND
MISSING IRENE!!!
He fainted...

This story is in response to the picture prompt offered by Willow at Magpie Tales. This is my first time in this... Hope you will find it interesting and thanks for stopping by:)

Hello

I am just passionate about whatever I do. That's what I think about myself. You may see me in a different way. The truth may be still another.,
